Niclas Herle has always been passionate about helicopters and flying.  He is the founder and CEO of Heli Aviation, flyVENTURE, Diamond Helicopters, and AeroParts.com.  In 2011, he converted his EASA pilot licenses to FAA Commercial, Instrument, and Flight Instructor Certificates.  During this time, he also moved to Oregon to hone further his skills as an aviator. The following year, while completing his flight training, he established Heli Aviation in Sarasota, Florida. This business is a flight training and utility helicopter company that initially provided turbine flight training at an affordable rate.  In 2014, Niclas Herle acquired Diamond Helicopters, LLC, which brought Heli Aviation to a major shift toward providing governmental contracts and specialized utility services. He continued to expand his ventures in the industry by establishing flyVENTURE, LLC in 2018, which offered the general public doors-off-helicopter-experiences using the safety standards and equipment prolifically used throughout the utility industry.

Eager to share his knowledge about the industry, Niclas Herle wrote two books that provide detailed, and an easy-to-understand overview of the fundamentals of engine failures in single-engine helicopters, and autorotation techniques, as well as OEI procedures in multi-engine helicopters. As an expert aviator, Niclas Herle has a 13-year accident/incident free flying record.  He holds an EASA and Instrument rated FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, as well as an FAA Flight Instructor rating and flies and provides training in Bell 206L, Bell 407, MD500, MD600, Robinson R22/44/66, and Agusta A109’s.

On this page, Niclas Herle will share insights on the aviation industry and how people in the industry can do their part to be of service to their community.  As someone who regularly participates in school and youth-focused events in his community, the pilot aims to inspire the younger generation to dream high and explore the many opportunities in the aviation industry.  Through this page, his goal is to share his learnings and experiences that have become valuable in his flying career.
